 Pastor Profile

The pastor of Greenville United Methodist Church is the Rev. B.J. Brack. B.J. grew up about 100 miles north of Joelton in Henderson, Kentucky. He has a Bachelor of Arts degree from Kentucky Wesleyan College in Owensboro, KY and a Master's of Divinity Degree from Vanderbilt Divinity School.

He was ordained elder in the United Methodist Church in June of 2002. He has served the Greenville United Methodist Church since June of 2005. Before B.J. was appointed to serve in Joelton, he had served churches in Kentucky and Tennessee. He began his career in Kentucky and was the pastor of Tolu, Smiths Grove, and Flat Rock United Methodist Churches. After moving to Tennessee to finish his master's degree, B.J. served as the Associate Pastor of Dalewood and Forest Hills United Methodist Churches in Nashville and the pastor of Bethlehem United Methodist Church in Clarksville.

B.J. and his wife, Laura, have been married for ten years. Laura is a teacher at Glenellen Elementary School in Clarksville, Tennessee. B.J. and Laura have two sons, Alex and Jacob who love all kinds of sports. They play hockey, golf, baseball, and basketball. Our family has also hosted three exchange student daughters from Germany, Franziska Seidel, Diana Hasanovic, and Daniela Hainz. These girls have not only changed our family, but our perspective about the rest of the world. Germany doesn't sound so foreign or far away because we know and love these "daughters."  B.J. is also very happy that his parents, Bill and Marian Ann, recently moved to Tennessee from Kentucky. B.J. has one brother, Brandon, who is a professional singer and choral conductor in Long Beach, California.
